Hush Puppies

2 c. corn meal
½ c. water
1 ½ c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 medium onion, diced
Mix all ingredients and drop by teaspoonfuls into very hot fat. Fry until deep brown.
